21st June International Day of Yoga at Bhubaneswar

On the occasion of the 5th International Yoga Day on 21st June 2019, Brahma Kumaris, Bhubaneswar Sub-Zone, organized an open-air yoga cum meditation awareness class in Biju Patnaik Park, Bhubaneswar. The class started at 5.00 a.m. and was attended by more than 500 Public and BK Students. BK Subrat conducted Yogasans and Pranayam with physical exercise followed by ‘Rajyoga’ Meditation which gives one an experience of wellness and wellbeing through deep silence and vibration of pure and positive thoughts.

At about 7 a.m. candle lighting was done for Global Peace. Honourable Transport Minister of Odisha Bro. Padmanabha Behera blessed the occasion by highlighting numerous benefits of Rajyoga Meditation and Pranayam. He extended his cooperation on awareness of Yoga. Former principal of R.D. Women’s College, Bhubaneswar, Sis. Dr. Bijoya Mishra shared her experience and benefits that she derived by regular practice of Yoga and Pranayam.

Sister BK Leena, Sub-Zone in-charge of Brahma Kumaris, Bhubaneswar, showered blessings and read Murli for all the BK students. Other senior BK sisters and brothers including BK Durgesh, BK Tapaswini, BK Manju, BK Kalpana, BK Bijay Bhai were present.
